Over the past 6 years, Sherwood Ridge Parent & Citizen Association (P&C), has raised the funds to assist the school to purchase 4 play areas to benefit different groups of students at Sherwood Ridge.
Through consultation with the SRC, staff and community members, we helped come up with play areas to cater for the varying needs of our students:
- HMAS Sherwood Ship Inclusive Play Area
- K-2 Natural Playground
- Senior (Years 3-6) Playground
- The recently opened Yarning Circle
The Mission for 2022/2023
This year and next, it's Sherwood's amazing Support Unit's turn to get the playspace of their dreams!
Our goal is to raise $100,000 to start upgrades to the existing area for our Support Unit. The 1st stage of upgrades need to be completed before March 31st 2023 (when our grant expires).
We believe everyone has a Superhero within, no matter what size, shape, colour or age.
So what is your super power?
